At the hospital!

Urban sketching is not a disease. Not at all....
Anyway, we decided to sketch from our main hospital, because of the wonderful view from ögonmottagningen (i.e the ocular department). Well, isn't that ironic?

The nightmare before Christmas!

..is a great movie. Fortunately it has very little in common with our usk-session today, except from that today is the day before Christmas.

However, we went to Coffeehouse by George, a café just by the town square.

Elite Hotel Statt in Eskilstuna

Tuesday!!!

The weather at the moment? About 2 or 3 degrees, i.e no outside sketching. We went to the restaurant/bar in our main hotel (Hotell Statt), called Ywonne Ryding after a girl who once played football in Hällbybrunn (located a few kilometres from the city area). Also, she was once married to Kjell Bergkvist, an actor who is world famous i most parts of Sweden. If I can rely on my sources (Wikipedia) they have two children. What else? Right, she was elected miss World around 1980 something. But that is not important right now....what is more important is that, a few years ago, the hotel building was destroyed by a violent fire (luckily, no one was injured!). But now, the building is restored and  it is actually a lot nicer than before. 

And the coffee is also much better!

New house!

We have a new building i town. Due to the cold weather we chose to sketch from inside our city library! And, of course, we had post-sketch-fika in the library café!

We have sketched this building earlier, but now it is more or less finished.
